Break-in at Bristol Country Store

BRISTOL — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who was involved in a theft in Bristol early this morning.

Authorities were notified of a reported break-in and theft of merchandise from the Bristol Country Store on Vermont Route 116 at around 12:15 a.m.

Police say the individual in question was last seen on foot traveling north on Vermont Route 116.

There were reports of the unidentified man getting into a dark-colored Jeep Wrangler.

The man was wearing a dark-colored jacket, camouflage pants, and a dark backpack with black footwear.

Anyone with information as to the individual’s identity is being asked to call the New Haven State Police barracks using the contact information below.
