Traffic stop leads to arrest in Lyndon

LYNDON — A 53-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in Lyndon on Sunday.

Police say they observed a moving motor vehicle violation while patrolling the greater St. Johnsbury/Lyndon area at around 11:15 p.m.

Police initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Wayne Moodie, of Lyndon.

Police say that Moodie’s license is criminally suspended and wanted on an outstanding warrant.

He was taken into custody and transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

He was cited to appear in court on May 8 for the charge of DLS and transported to the Northeast Correctional Complex to be held on the warrant.
