VSP arrest Salisbury man on multiple charges

MIDDLEBURY — Vermont State Police have arrested a Salisbury man on multiple charges, including driving with a criminally suspended license and providing false information to a police officer.

Troopers patrolling on US Route 7 in Middlebury conducted a traffic stop after observing a motor vehicle violation today at approximately 5:37 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle provided a false name to the troopers and was later identified as Scott Clark, 40.

Further investigation revealed that Clark’s license was criminally suspended and he had an active arrest warrant.

Clark was taken into custody without incident, processed, and later lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.

In addition to his charges, Clark was issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.

The Middlebury Police Department assisted troopers on the scene.
