Two-vehicle crash in Bristol

BRISTOL –– A two-vehicle collision occurred today at the intersection of Burpee Road and Stoney Hill Road in the town of Bristol.

The incident involved a 2019 GMC Sierra and a 2000 Toyota Camry.

According to Vermont State Police, Robert Robidoux failed to yield the right of way when entering the intersection prior to the crash.

Jeffrey Smith arrived at the stop sign first and both vehicles entered the intersection at the same time.

The front-end of the GMC Sierra, which had a plow affixed to it, struck the passenger’s side of the Toyota Camry.

No injuries were reported, and both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.

Troopers responded to the scene and determined that there was no damage to the GMC Sierra and only contact damage to the passenger’s side of the Toyota Camry.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m. and road conditions were reported as dry at the time.
