Shots fired during fight in Royalton, 2 arrested

ROYALTON — Two men have been arrested in connection with a disturbance that occurred on Monday in Royalton.

Jesse Durkee, 38, and William Flibotte, 29, were cited and released at the Vermont State Police Barracks in Royalton.

The Royalton Police Department and the Vermont State Police were dispatched to the residence for an active disturbance described as 6-10 people fighting with shots fired from a weapon.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Durkee and Flibotte were primary suspects in having committed multiple offenses.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.

The charges against Durkee and Flibotte include disorderly conduct, with other charges pending.
