CAMBRIDGE — A single vehicle rollover crash occurred in the town of Cambridge on Wednesday.

A passersby notified troopers from the Williston Barracks at approximately 7:15 am.

Upon arrival, Troopers discovered a vehicle resting on its driver’s side door in the southbound lane of VT RT 15.

The operator, Carolyn Porter, was unable to exit the vehicle following the crash.

Several passing motorists stopped to assist, and Fire and Rescue personnel ultimately freed Porter from the vehicle.

She was evaluated at the scene and medically cleared with only minor injuries.

Investigation revealed that the vehicle fishtailed on the icy roads, causing it to go off the side of the road and roll at least once.

The area of VT RT 15 near Putnam Road was temporarily closed while the operator was extricated from the vehicle and the vehicle was removed from the scene.

The Troopers were assisted by Cambridge Fire and Rescue and Stones Auto.
