EXETER — The Exeter Police Department received notification of an unresponsive adult male found alone in a tent in a wooded area near 191 Epping Road yesterday.

Upon arrival, officers located the 31-year-old deceased man, and a preliminary investigation of the scene did not reveal the death to be suspicious at the time.

In response to this, Police Chief Stephan Poulin urges anyone in these instances or anyone who knows someone needing help to reach out to the authorities.

“I would urge anyone in these instances, or anyone who knows someone needing help, to reach out to our Exeter Human Services Department.”

The department is available to help anyone who may be in need of shelter or other needs. Welfare Administrator Pam McElroy can be reached at 603-773-6116 or [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
