New York fugative arrested in Ludlow

LUDLOW — A 29-year-old man from Middletown was arrested in Ludlow last week.

Authorities say they were notified of an erratic driver on Route 103 heading into the town from Mt. Holly.

Police say they pulled over the vehicle and discovered that the driver, identified as John L. Carter, had an extraditable warrant out of New York State.

He was wanted on a weapons offense and also had a suspended license.

Chief Billings from Ludlow PD responded to assist.

Carter was taken into custody.

He was transported to court in White River Junction where he was released on bail.
