LEICESTER — A 51-year-old man from Weybridge was arrested for his sixth DUI in Leicester today.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of US route 7 and Fern Lake Road after observing a motor vehicle violation at around 4:10 p.m.
The driver was identified as Martin Landon.
While speaking with Landon, police say they observed indicators of impairment.
Landon was screened and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI drugs.
He was transported to the Vergennes Police Department for processing and released with a citation.
He will face charges of DUI #6, and ignition interlock violation.
Troopers were assisted by members of the Vergennes and Brandon Police Departments.
