CRAFTSBURY — A 57-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Craftsbury on Monday.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault that occurred on Vermont Route 14 at around 12:30 p.m.
Police allege that Francis Huard, of Craftsbury, caused physical bodily harm to a household member.
Huard was taken into custody without incident and lodged at Northern State Correctional.
He was scheduled to appear in court today.
He is facing charges of domestic assault, and cruelty to a child.
