WEATHERSFIELD — A 36-year-old man from Springfield was cited for DUI following a crash in Weathersfield on Monday.
Authorities say they were notified of a single motor vehicle crash in the area of U.S. Route 5 at around 11:20 a.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that the driver involved in this crash was Shad Wright.
Police say he was driving a 1998 Toyota Avalon.
Wright was transported to Mount Ascutney Hospital for minor injuries.
He was found to be under the influence of drugs, police say.
He was cited to appear in court on February 28 to answer to the charge of DUI
