Man arrested for theft in Nashua

NASHUA — A 28-year-old man from New Hampshire was arrested in Nashua on Wednesday.

Police say they arrested Ryan Coombs, of Derry, for one count of theft by unauthorized taking.

On January 12, police responded to a local business for the report of a theft.

During the initial report, Coombs was identified as a suspect and it was alleged he had stolen several items from the store while working as a sales associate.

It was reported that during the time of employment Coombs had stolen over $6,800 in inventory.

Police say they continued the investigation by members of the Nashua Police Department’s POP Unit.

On February 8, 2022, police executed a search warrant at his residence and recovered approximately $4,000.00 of reported stolen property among other pieces of evidence.

Coombs was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arrangement on March 19, 2023 in the Hillsborough County Superior Court-Southern District.
