Traffic stop leads to arrest in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE — A 38-year-old man from West Burke was arrested following an incident in Lyndonville on Friday.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation on Lynburke Road near the Veterinary Clinic at around 7:10 p.m.

The driver was identified as Justin Witt.

Following an investigation, police say that Witt had a suspended license and an active arrest warrant.

Witt was taken into custody and lodged at Northeast Correctional Complex.

He was charged with operating with a suspended license and the warrant.

He was also ticketed for operating with a suspended license.
