Woman rescued after getting lost in Salisbury, New Hampshire woods

SALISBURY — A woman who got lost in the woods in Salisbury, New Hampshire, while looking for wood to use for home décor is home safe.

The woman was dropped off on Friday along Warner Road in Salisbury.

Her husband stayed in the car until he became suspicious as to the length of time it was taking.

He searched the area but was unsuccessful, police say.

Conservation officers and New Hampshire State Police troopers responded.

The woman was located about a mile from where she had started, cold and wet.

Thankfully, she was not seriously injured during the incident.

She said she did not know how to get back to her husband, and had no light source at the time she was located.
