Police looking for suspect in Orleans shooting

ORLEANS — Police are continuing to investigate a shooting that took place in Orleans on Tuesday.

Several gun shots were heard in the area of Church and Maple Street at around 11:00 p.m.

Following an investigation, police identified a location within a parking area on Church Street where the suspect fired a number of rounds.

Police say it appears the shooting was directed at a vehicle which fled the scene.

As part of the investigation, troopers have obtained surveillance photos showing a suspect in this incident.

No injuries were reported, and police say they are actively investigating this incident.
