Woman arrested for stealing car in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE — A 43-year-old woman was arrested in Lyndonville on Tuesday.

Authorities were notified a vehicle was stolen at 35 Elm Street at around 12:00 p.m.

Police say the vehicle was a 2007 Chrysler Aspen.

A short time later, police say they located the stolen vehicle on Elliot Road after police received a call that a vehicle had been parked there for nearly six hours.

Police say that someone was slumped over the wheel on the side of the road.

The driver was identified as Kasea Hill, of Lyndonville.

She was arrested and brought back to the police department for processing.

She was charged with operating without owner’s consent, petit larceny, and criminal DLS.

Kasea was released on a citation.
