Single-vehicle crash in Canaan

CANAAN — A 41-year-old woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Canaan this morning.

The crash took place in the area of Vermont Route 114 around 6:50 a.m.

According to the report, Anna Roy, of Canaan, was traveling east and lost control of her vehicle.

The vehicle left the road and hit a tree.

As a result of the crash, the vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

State Police was assisted at the scene by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol as well as the Colebrook Fire Department and EMS.
