ORLEANS — A 28-year-old man from Lyndonville was arrested following a crash in Orleans on Sunday.
Authorities say they were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Main Street at around 11:35 p.m.
Upon arrival, the driver was identified as Robert Guest Jr.
According to the report, Guest was traveling west when he crashed his vehicle into a cement barrier off the road.
As a result of the crash, the vehicle sustained significant front-end damage.
Police say Guest Jr was not injured.
While investigating, police allege Guest presented many indicators of impairment and it was later learned his license was criminally suspended.
Police say Guest became uncooperative and non-compliant during sobriety tests, and eventually resisted arrest.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Derby barracks where he was processed.
He was released on a citation to appear in court to answer the charges of DUI #2 refusal, resisting arrest, and criminal DLS.
