WESTMINSTER — A 26-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Westminster on Saturday.
Authorities say they were notified of a reported disturbance on Route 121/Back Westminster Road at around 11:00 p.m.
One of the involved vehicles was observed by deputies on Westminster Street in Bellows Falls.
Police say the vehicle fled the area at a high rate of speed and into Westminster, where it continued to operate in a grossly negligent manner.
The vehicle was later located on Route 121 by deputies and stopped on Back Westminster Road.
As a result of the investigation, Justin K. Ruggiero was arrested.
Police allege that during the investigation, Ruggiero became disorderly.
He was processed and released on a citation for the charges of gross negligent operation, and disorderly conduct.
