Driver arrested for DUI, Dummerston

DUMMERSTON — A 53-year-old man from New Hampshire was arrested for DUI following a crash in Dummerston on Sunday.

Authorities say they were notified of a motor vehicle crash on the East-West Road at around 1:50 p.m.

Following an investigation, police say James Gardner, of Alstead, NH, was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Westminster barracks for processing.

Gardner was released into the custody of a sober adult with a criminal citation to appear in court at a later date and time to answer the charge.
