Man arrested for DUI, resisting arrest in Putney

PUTNEY — A 43-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Putney yesterday.

Authorities were notified of a family fight on Bellows Falls Road by Harlow’s Blueberry Patch at around 5:10 p.m.

State police arrived at a home on Quarry Road and determined that James Stark, of Putney, had been driving under the influence of intoxicating liquors. 

Stark was arrested for driving under the influence and resisting arrest. 

He was transported to the Westminster State Police barracks for processing.

He was later released with a citation and is scheduled to appear in court to answer to the charges.
