Police say Dante Flowers Sr., 45, and Dante Flowers Jr., 27, both from Connecticut, have been charged with attempted murder.

During the assault, James Castrogiovanni, 41, of Derby, sustained life-threatening injuries that caused him to be paralyzed from the chest down.
