BRISTOL — Two men were cited for disturbing the peace by use of electronic communication in Bristol yesterday.

Joseph Lefebvre, 39, of Bristol, told police that Jeffrey Millette, 39, of Burlington, was on his way to his home to fight him at around 10:10 p.m.

Police say Lefebvre stated that Millette was armed with a handgun.

Shortly after troopers arrived on scene, Millette arrived at the home and was taken into custody.

Police say Millette consented to a search of his vehicle and no firearm was recovered.

Following an investigation, police say that both Lefebvre and Millette threatened and harassed each other via Facebook Messenger.

They both were issued citations to appear in court at a later date.
