Police: Two vehicles broken into in Swanton

SWANTON — Police are investigating two-vehicle break-ins that took place in Swanton yesterday.

The thefts occurred on South River and Covery Drive at around 5:30 a.m.

Victims told police that their vehicles had been broken into sometime between 10:00 p.m and 5:30 a.m. 

Police say these events are believed to be linked to the same offender.  

Among the items stolen were a firearm and credit cards.
