Vehicle crashes, submerged in Knapp Brook in Reading

READING — A 60-year-old man from New Hampshire was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Reading on Monday. 

Authorities were notified that a single vehicle was on its roof partially submerged in the Knapp Brook on Vermont Route 106 at around 2:40 p.m.

Police say the driver, Michael Wellington, of Swanzey, NH, was able to get out of the vehicle and call for assistance. 

Cavendish Rescue responded and transported Wellington to Mount Ascutney Hospital to be evaluated for non-life threatening injuries. 

Police are still investigating this crash.
