JAY — Having received a few inches of snow this year already, and snowmakers working hard to get the mountain up and running, Jay Peak is set to kick off the 2020+2021 season this Friday.

The resort says they will open with access to the Jet trail, which is for advanced skiers and riders only.

This will run Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Given the limited terrain, there will be no uphill travel routes open this weekend.

The lift will be closed Monday, November 30, and will reopen Friday, December 4.

They will continue to make snow as temperatures allow and ramp up winter skiing operations as quickly as possible.

This week Jay Peak will also be hosting its 2020 “Give Back Friday” promotion.

The resort will randomly select a set of 50 people on Friday to give away lift tickets valid for the next two seasons.
