ISLAND POND — A 29-year-old man from Island Pond was killed during a motorcycle accident Wednesday afternoon.

Police say Tyler Pepin, 29, of Island Pond, was operating a motorcycle headed west on East Brighton Road in Island Pond, at around 4 p.m.

As Pepin entered a right-hand curve, just west of the intersection with South Street, he lost control of his 2004 Suzuki motorcycle.

The motorcycle crossed the centerline into the path of another vehicle being operated by Robert Webster, 61, of Leeds, Maine.

  1. So sad. Not a fan of motorcycles. After the loss of a family member and grt friend Gate DeLaBruere I cringe ever time I see them on the highways.
