BROADALBIN, NY — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a report of a possible structure fire on State Highway 29 on Friday afternoon.
The call came in at 3:07 p.m.
The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was also dispatched for mutual aid.
Police and Lake Valley EMS were notified of the incident.
A third party reported the incident as a chimney fire.
Firefighters determined the cause was a pellet stove malfunction.
