SOMERS, NY — New York State Police arrested a local man on multiple drug charges following a report of suspicious individuals at a pharmacy.
Corey J. Gardner, 33, of Somers, was taken into custody on Feb. 25, 2026, at approximately 9:08 p.m. at CVS Pharmacy, located at 325 State Route 100.
State Police from the Somers barracks, along with Somers Police Department, responded to the pharmacy for a report of two suspicious individuals.
Troopers located Gardner and a female passenger who matched the descriptions provided.
Gardner exhibited signs of impairment while speaking with troopers, according to police.
After failing standardized field sobriety tests, Gardner was placed under arrest.
The female passenger was released during the investigation.
During an inventory of Gardner’s vehicle, troopers located approximately 4.2 grams of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, approximately 13.4 grams of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, approximately 44.6 grams of Ketamine, approximately 12 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms, approximately 18.8 grams of Alprazolam, and approximately 54.4 grams of cocaine.
Gardner was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, class A felonies; two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, class B felonies; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell, a class B felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony; criminal possession of a narcotic drug in the fourth degree, a class C felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a class D felony; driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor; and driving while ability impaired by drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Gardner was arraigned in Somers Town Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail.
He is scheduled to return to court on March 2, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
