ROCHELLE PARK, NJ — Two people were arrested on drug charges following a motor vehicle stop on Essex Street on Thursday afternoon.
Officer Chris Kiszka conducted the traffic stop, according to the Rochelle Park Police Department.
A police K-9 gave a positive alert, prompting a search of the vehicle.
The search yielded nearly 300 bags of heroin, amphetamine pills, crack cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms, police said.
Both occupants were arrested and face numerous drug-related charges.
Police did not immediately release the names of the suspects or specify the exact charges filed.
