ST. JOHNSBURY, VT — A New Hampshire woman has been cited after allegedly crashing into a telephone pole and fleeing the scene.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were notified at 10:33 a.m. Feb. 23 of a motor vehicle being operated erratically on U.S. Route 2 West in St. Johnsbury.
A complainant reported the vehicle had crashed into a telephone pole before leaving the scene.
Troopers located the vehicle near the intersection of Concord Avenue and Portland Street.
The operator appeared to have fled the motor vehicle after it was no longer operational.
Investigation revealed the vehicle was registered to Colleen Fahey, 52, of Lancaster, New Hampshire.
Fahey was located Feb. 24 at approximately 2:20 p.m.
She was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on March 30 at 8:30 a.m. for leaving the scene of an accident and negligent operation.
