RICHFORD, VT — Vermont State Police were notified of an assault on Home Street at 6:17 p.m. Monday.
An investigation revealed Jason Bessette, 28, of St. Albans, had physically assaulted another individual, police said.
Bessette was issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Criminal Court at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Police have not released any more information at this time.
