JAMESTOWN, NY — A Jamestown man was arrested following a domestic dispute on the city’s North side.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon responded to the address at 2:02 p.m. Feb. 18, 2026.
Police determined that Jonathan Rivera, 21, of Jamestown, had choked the victim.
Rivera was taken into custody without incident.
He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he is being charged with criminal obstruction of breathing.
Rivera is being held pending arraignment.
