Man arrested on drug charges in Huntingdon Valley

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A 23-year-old Pennsylvania man faces multiple drug charges following a traffic stop on Jan. 14.

Tymir Richard Patrick, of Pennsylvania, was a passenger in a white Chevrolet Tahoe stopped in the 2800 block of Philmont Avenue, according to Lower Moreland Township police.

The driver, Eli Prince, was found to have a suspended driver’s license for DUI-related offenses.

Police said Prince was found in possession of 20 small yellow packages of Suboxone, a Schedule III controlled substance, without a prescription, along with a large amount of U.S. currency.

Patrick was also found in possession of narcotics and currency, police said.

Additional evidence recovered during the investigation included drugs, drug paraphernalia and counterfeit currency, according to police.

Patrick is charged with one count each of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered; possession of a small amount of marijuana; and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

A warrant was issued Jan. 28 by Magisterial District Judge Thomas P. Murt.
