Man arrested on criminal threatening charge in Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police arrested a man on criminal threatening and weapons charges following an altercation at Walmart on Feb. 12, 2026.

Police responded to the store at 725 Gold Street at approximately 3:50 p.m. for a report of an argument between two males, with one allegedly displaying a firearm.

The victim told police a man he knew approached him in the store and became hostile.

The victim said he attempted to walk away, but the other man followed him.

The victim said the man pulled a firearm from his waistband but did not point it at him, instead holding it at his side while making threats.

An officer working a detail at the store located the suspect.

Police identified the suspect as Lincoln Tarlue, 20, of Manchester, and found he had a firearm in his possession.

Tarlue was arrested and charged with criminal threatening.

Police determined Tarlue was a convicted felon and additionally charged him with felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.

Tarlue was held on preventative detention.
