HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A traffic stop on Jan. 14 led to drug charges against a Pennsylvania man.
Eli Raheem Prince, 34, of Pennsylvania, was arrested after police stopped a white Chevrolet Tahoe in the 2800 block of Philmont Avenue.
Police said Prince was driving with a suspended license due to DUI-related offenses.
During the stop, officers found Prince in possession of 20 small yellow packages of Suboxone, a Schedule III controlled substance, without a prescription, according to police.
Prince was also found with a large amount of U.S. currency, police said.
The front seat passenger, Tymir Patrick, was also found in possession of narcotics and currency, according to police.
Further investigation resulted in the recovery of additional drugs, drug paraphernalia and counterfeit currency, police said.
Prince faces charges including manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, intentional possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, no rear lights, improper screening and driving with a license suspended or revoked.
A warrant was issued Jan. 28 by Magisterial District Judge Thomas P. Murt.
