HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — Two men face drug charges following a traffic stop on Jan. 14 in the 2800 block of Philmont Avenue.
Eli Prince was stopped while operating a white Chevrolet Tahoe with a suspended driver’s license for DUI-related offenses, according to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department.
Police said Prince was found in possession of 20 small yellow packages of Suboxone, a Schedule III controlled substance, without a prescription, as well as a large amount of U.S. currency.
The passenger, Tymir Richard Patrick, 23, of Pennsylvania, was also found in possession of narcotics and currency, police said.
Additional evidence recovered during the investigation included drugs, drug paraphernalia and counterfeit currency, according to police.
Patrick faces charges of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered; possession of a small amount of marijuana; and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
A warrant was issued Jan. 28 by Magisterial District Judge Thomas P. Murt.
