HALFMOON, NY — State Police arrested a 19-year-old man on weapon and vehicle charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 87.
Micah J. Woodrow, of Clifton Park, was taken into custody at about 2:14 p.m. Feb. 9, 2026.
Troopers stopped a vehicle driven by Woodrow on I-87 northbound for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
Further investigation discovered an illegally possessed handgun in the vehicle, which was seized.
Woodrow was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a class C felony, and criminal possession of a firearm, a class E felony.
He was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
Woodrow was transported to State Police barracks in Clifton Park for processing.
He was arraigned at Halfmoon Town Court, where he was released under the supervision of the Saratoga County Probation Department.
