On Monday, Maynard Police obtained a search warrant for 145 Waltham St., Unit 5, as a result of a monthslong investigation into drug distribution in Maynard.

During service of the warrant, officers located more than 36 grams of methamphetamine and various other drugs inside the residence, along with packaging materials, drug paraphernalia, and several stolen identity documents.

Fenton, the apartment’s resident, was not home when the search warrant was served, but was arrested later on an arrest warrant obtained by Maynard Police.

Fenton was arraigned Monday in Concord District Court, where he was ordered held on $5,000 cash bail.

“The success of this investigation reflects the tireless work, dedication, and professionalism of the Maynard Police Department’s Detectives and Patrol Officers, who worked diligently over many months to bring this case to a successful conclusion,” said Chief Troiano.
