PITTSBURGH, PA — Detectives from the Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit and Zone 5 officers have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with a domestic violence investigation.
Jermaine Turner, of Wilkinsburg, is accused of kidnapping and assaulting a female acquaintance between Jan. 27 and Jan. 28, 2026.
During the incident, the victim was driven to a bank to withdraw money, where she managed to alert employees to contact the police.
The suspect fled the scene, and the victim was transported to a hospital with severe facial injuries.
Fugitive Apprehension Unit detectives located and arrested Turner in the 7300 block of Monticello Street on the afternoon of Jan. 30.
At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of a firearm allegedly used during the assault.
Turner faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, robbery, robbery of a motor vehicle, terroristic threats, simple assault, persons not to possess a firearm, and receiving stolen property.
He is currently being held at the Allegheny County Jail.
