HALFMOON, N.Y. — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash Thursday at 10:22 p.m. on Ponderosa Drive in the town of Halfmoon.
After investigating, deputies arrested Joshua W. Hay, 38, of Halfmoon, on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater, all unclassified misdemeanors.
Hay also faces infractions of speed not reasonable and prudent, and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle on a public highway.
Deputies say Hay was operating a vehicle while intoxicated and with a blood alcohol content of 0.27 percent.
Authorities said Hay’s vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle, causing his own vehicle to flip onto its roof.
No injuries were reported, and no other persons were involved.
Hay was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in the Halfmoon Town Court.
