HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — Police arrested a man after spotting a stolen license plate on a vehicle he was driving on January 22.
Officers observed a stolen Pennsylvania license plate on a silver Nissan Pathfinder traveling eastbound on Philmont Avenue from Huntingdon Pike.
Police located the vehicle on the 2800 block of Philmont Avenue and identified the operator as Charles Otis Parks, 29, of Pennsylvania.
Parks provided a title for a Chevrolet, not the Nissan Pathfinder he was operating, and was unable to provide a bill of sale or proof of ownership, according to police.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle’s identification number was also reported stolen.
Officers also recovered drugs from Parks during the arrest.
Parks was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property and one count of possession of a small amount of marijuana.
