MEDINA, NY — Two people face felony drug charges following a traffic stop early Friday morning in the village.
Officers stopped a vehicle near Pearl Street and Main Street at approximately 12:45 a.m. Friday.
Police determined both the driver and passenger had suspended driver’s licenses, requiring the vehicle to be towed.
During an inventory search before towing, officers found suspected narcotics, according to police.
Milton Hinckley IV, 31, was charged with obstructed plate, operating a motor vehicle without inspection, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell in the third degree.
Leah Gerety, 26, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell in the third degree.
Both were processed and released on appearance tickets.
They are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
