PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating after a racial slur was spray-painted on an auto body shop in the city’s Zone 5.
Officers responded to the 7600 block of Finance Street on Jan. 21, where the shop owner reported finding graffiti on his building and door.
The owner told police he arrived at work that morning to discover a racial slur painted in black spray paint on the exterior of the business.
Next to the slur, the words “JUX WAS HURE, BBT D4C” were also spray-painted on the building.
Additional graffiti was found on the door but was not legible, according to police.
All of the graffiti appeared to have been done with the same black spray paint.
The owner said he was last at the building on Jan. 19.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Zone 5 plainclothes detectives at (412) 665-3605.
