Man arrested on warrant in Richford

RICHFORD, VT — A local man was taken into custody on an active warrant Friday afternoon.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks responded to a report of a citizen dispute on School Street at approximately 2:34 p.m.

During the investigation, troopers made contact with Rene Robitaille, 43, of Richford.

It was discovered that Robitaille had an active warrant for his arrest.

Robitaille was placed under arrest and transported to Northwest State Correctional Facility.

He was held on $200 bail.
