Woman charged with animal cruelty in Methuen

METHUEN, MA — A woman who owns a dog training and kennel facility in New Hampshire has been charged with animal cruelty following an investigation into a video that circulated online.

Maddison Eastman, 26, of Methuen, was charged by Methuen police after an investigation that began Jan. 2.

Brentwood, New Hampshire, police notified Methuen police of a video depicting apparent animal abuse that was determined to have occurred in Methuen.

A preliminary investigation identified Eastman as the suspect.

Eastman owns a dog training and kennel facility in Brentwood.

The investigation involved collaboration between Methuen police, Brentwood police, the New Hampshire SPCA and the Massachusetts SPCA.
