PHILLIPS, ME — The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating an intentionally set fire that destroyed a vacant home early Tuesday morning.
The Phillips Fire Department responded to 83 Dodge Road at approximately 12:51 a.m. Tuesday for a reported building fire.
Firefighters arrived to find the vacant home heavily involved in fire.
Fire Marshal investigators determined the fire to be incendiary in nature.
Investigators are asking residents in the surrounding area who may have security or surveillance cameras to review their footage for any activity that may be relevant to the investigation.
