Two-vehicle crash on East Woodstock Road sends both drivers to hospital

WOODSTOCK, VT — Two drivers were hospitalized following a head-on collision on East Woodstock Road on Wednesday afternoon.

Woodstock Police responded to 1390 East Woodstock Road at 2:11 p.m. for a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries.

James Grahm, 50, of Pittsford, was traveling eastbound when he suffered a medical episode that caused him to lose consciousness, according to police.

Grahm’s 2022 Honda CRV swerved into the opposite lane and collided with a westbound 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Lee Debeauchamp, 69, of Woodstock.

Both vehicles were totaled due to disabling damage.

Both operators were wearing seat belts and were transported to the hospital for evaluation of their injuries.

Road conditions were slightly icy at the time of the crash.

Officers Arora and Turco investigated the incident.
