Woman arrested on drug charge in Bethel

BETHEL, VT — A woman faces drug and court order violation charges following a traffic stop early Saturday.

Vermont State Police troopers from the Royalton Barracks stopped a vehicle for motor vehicle violations on North Road at approximately 12:54 a.m. Jan. 4.

Andrea L. Veroneau, 37, of Barnard, was found to be violating her conditions of release during the investigation, police said.

Troopers also found Veroneau in possession of cocaine, according to police.

She was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks for processing.

Veroneau was cited to appear in Windsor County Superior Court.
