Three arrested on drug charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Three people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on the southeast side of the city around midnight Thursday.

Officers stopped a vehicle for a moving violation and discovered large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Taylor S. Hernandez was found in possession of 67.9 grams of methamphetamine and 42.7 grams of fentanyl, police said.

Bradley M. McKay was in possession of 40 grams of methamphetamine and a quantity of fentanyl, according to police.

The vehicle’s operator, Zachary C. Clark, was found in possession of 10 grams of methamphetamine, police said.

All three were arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where they were held pending arraignment.

Hernandez is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, an A-2 felony, and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a B felony.

McKay is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Clark is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was issued two traffic citations.
